Trustees

I understand the current board of trustees was selected by the now defunct shareholder/management company, could someone elaborate on the possible or existing conflict of interest between the current board and the management company? Can be they be trusted to undertake an impartial strategic review?.

If the current board of trustees is tainted, there might be an argument to initiate a special unit holder meeting to elect a new board of trustees to decide on the future of the trust?. I might be interested in leading such effort if there is merit to such action.
