Orange Capital was willing to pay $6/share for Partners assets.  Mr. McCowan paid $7 and considers himself a long term investor and sees a lot of value.  Book value is over $7 and consists of real property that is almost fully leased (>96%).  Yet the stock sells for less than $5.  All I can say is thank-you as I keep buying.
Of course there is some uncertainty, with the current turmoil in Ukraine, perhaps a wayward atomic bomb will wipe out the various stores and leave radioactive ruins.  But, this is the risk one takes when buying cheap real estate.
