Invesco Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt ETF V.PCY

Primary Symbol: PCY

The investment seeks to track the investment results (before fees and expenses) of the DBIQ Emerging Market USD Liquid Balanced Index (the underlying index). The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds from emerging market countries that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index measures potential returns of a theoretical portfolio of liquid emerging market U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds.

Volume

VolumeI don't see this volume as being "massive" at all considering that so far today only about $100,000 in shares have been traded and we have a market cap close to $40 million.  In other words not even close to 1% has been traded yet.

Even with blue chip stocks there is often a spike in volume before a news release as rumours spread.  In this case, people are gambling that the PPA is finally signed when they hear of any leaks about a pending news release. It may be worth a gamble at these pathetically low levels.

Also, if and when Prophecy simply demonstrates  that it is really making money from current coal sales, there should be a modest rally anyway.  But of course the real payoff is the PPA.
