The Reuters article, which this guy was using mentions 8000 barrels a day within 5 years as a HOPE, not the result from the current well.

Here's the quote from the Reuters article.

We hope to produce 8,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in five years," Mohave's Portugal director Arlindo Alves told Reuters.
