RE: Made some nice money and I''''m outAre some of you guys naive idiots. Read Machiavelli. Read about how there was no profit growth in the last half of the nineties in that supposed great "New Economy" period. Read about Grubman, Blodget and all the scams. Learn how the world works.... those properties were passed around the same group of people. Canden, IDO, BTP, VVI,PEM and who knows about clearwater??? are not at "arms length". They are all inter-related. It seems to me they are trying to give the appearance that these properties are an afterthought. The bottom line is that those properties are now with the same people that controlled them for 10 years. ---------------------------------- As most of you know, 98.9 % of all business books are written by charlatans or idiots.(Remember Dow 36,000) I am re-reading Moneyball and Liar's pokey by Michael Lewis. All any investor is doing is trying to profit from other investors gullibility, irriationality, pessimism, over-optimism, biases and heuristics. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF "Reversion to the Mean", apparently most investors have not. Many of the top thinkers on Wall Street financed their way through Wharton, Harvard, and MIT by playing high-stakes poker (The Poker Face of Wall Street by Aaron Brown;; a poker book, not a stock book). They know about deception, bluffing, and disguising your best asset.
