Good discussion here pal. I also agree volume is important, but to me, it is secondary, and the icing on the cake. Extra confirmation if you will.

Absolutely, if you are a buy and hold person, these stocks can take you for a ride. Remember that old Kenny Rogers song?

As for me, I have a core holding, and trade the rest using technical indicators.

I always remember that news trumps everything though. The proof is in the pudding they say. If we have good drill results for example, we are more likely to go up. In the meantime, I try to position myself by looking at what the technical indicators are telling me.  Couple that with what the candlesticks are showing, and I make my decision.

If you were holding through the ups and downs, I see your frustration, and waiting for the big volume to break the upper resistance level. This happens to a lot of stocks. They get stuck in a trading range, and if you are not getting in and out, it can be very frustrating.

We need good news of some sort to break out of this range. I think we are gearing up for that as we speak. Hey, it's possible I could be wrong, but I am thinking positive here, and if there ever was a time for Mr Steiner to squirt his pickle, now would be it. I think he has the attention of many out there. The balls in his court so to speak.

Good luck with this one. I am sure we will all do well.

Hey, are you going to PDAC this weekend?
