RE:RE:RE:nothing but bad nrFor what it's worth I've been in a few shares for deb (services rendered) deals, and both times the alternative to shares was pennies on the dollar.  One of the two went broke 2 months later.  The second is still limping along with a drill slated to start this winter, for the sake of perspective I was offered 3200 on a 50k invoice or full value at 2 cents below trading price at the time.  So insiders accepting shares at 13 cents likely doesn't tell the whole story of their risk acceptance.  As to the delay of material news in order to settle a debt for shares private placement, I for one would count that as shady.
