Power Struggle

Power StruggleSpoke to O'Gorman and he is being very tight about anything.  He is a professional engineer with much experience and teamed with David Bending who is a professional geologist, these two make a perfect team.  See what they have done with Shoreham Resources Ltd. (V.SMH) and I think you will agree.

My understanding is that O'Groman was pushing for a Joint Venture Agreement between MacMillan and Duran and could not get it agreed to by George.  Note that George is CEO of both companies and if that is not a conflict of interest I do not know what is considering the property that the two companies have acquired in Peru.  Also note that if the drilling can be confirmed in Peru this is a significant find and will be a subject of a takeover in years ahead.  With the track record of O'Gorman and Bending I would want them on my side in a deal like this.

Everyone seems to be missing the real facts here.  George Brown is under a Cease Trade Order and those are NOT issued just because the BCSC thinks your complexion today is a little off.  George announced he would not be running for the Board of MacMillan and Duran.  Well news flash here folks - he cannot run or be nominated with a CTO against him, and his smart word smithing was nothing more than his usual flash.  Then look at the Corporate Governance issue on these two Boards - there is none.

The latest news release on O'Gorman is defamatory and in my opinion done so in a vindictive manner.  O'Gorman is a professional engineer and as such could legally go after the company which personally I hope he does.  The highlight here is I doubt the Board of Directors and the Companies have insurance to cover such things and that would be a big concern to me if I was on those Boards, and would be standing up to George Brown and telling him so.  Oh sorry - a weak moment - then he would fire me for insubbordination also.
