I still predict the S&P 500 to trade in the 3000-3300 range at some point over the next 6-12 months. I don't think the bottom has been reached.
The recession will begin in the US shortly after the debt ceiling fiasco is resolved imo. The government, like its citizens, is also living paycheck to paycheck. More liquidity is going to be drained from the US economy when the government borrows from the private sector. Not to mention QT working in the background is a double whammy for the US economy and a big blow to gdp.
