Stop repeating your baseless rumors, jackass. Slyce clients signed multi-year contracts. They are not going anywhere.

If you don't want to be called names why don't you post some relevant information with proof.  Yes people leave be says they get different offers, fact of life. What proof do you have Slyce is loosing clients?  post the reports or any information you have if you want to be taken seriously. Otherwise get lost and not make statements just to get a reaction.

frigging moron. The lead investor demanded cost reductions as condition to invest...... "The remainder of the Private Placement of up to $7 million is expected to close over the course of the next 30 days. This will be based on the fulfillment of certain criteria as outlined by the lead investor (the "Lead Investor"), which includes, but is not limited to, certain participation by ...more

Is Zappos still a Slyce client?  Zappos appears to have stopped pointing users to zappos.slyce.it and are instead promoting something called Ask Zappos, which appears internal and unrelated to Slyce. Unless I'm missing something, sounds like it didn't go well at Zappos. Maybe these rumours aren't so far off?

If you click on the *Snap a photo or Upload from Liabray option* it will show you that it says directly below the camera feature * Powered by Slyce*. I think it's pretty obvious, that Zappos is still one of Slyces Clients. https://zappos.slyce.it/ https://zappos.slyce.it/#

I think he was referring to this page (https://askzappos.apps.zappos.com) which is dated 2014 at the bottom. It is probably not updated because the Slyce visual search technology is on he Zappos app not the Zappos website......

I tried the Zappos app, I don't see visual search in there (at least not the Android version).  Any clue how to activate it? I tried Ask Zappos, it is definitely still active!  I sent them a picture and they gave me pretty good similar results.  Took a while though.

Yes, the demo still works - but how do Zappos shoppers find this?  If I go to https://m.zappos.com (the Zappos mobile site), there used to be a link to Slyce site to let people use it.  The link up there today goes to this Ask Zappos thing.  Zappos is promoting Ask Zappos, not Slyce.  The Slyce link was removed at some point.

Zappos.slyce.it was a demo site. It was never meant to be a robust search tool. Users of zappos website have no visual search function just like Best Buy website users have no visual search function. Slyce's tech is for mobile commerce which means in on the apps, not the websites.

Yeah, I get that, but like I have the Zappos app open in front of me right now - where is the visual search and how do I use it?

You're onto something - I took a closer look at the Best Buy app.  The Best Buy visual search is actually powered by a company called Moodstocks - their libraries are embedded in the app, no sign of anything from Slyce in there. It appears Slyce has re-licensed Moodstocks tech for Best Buy.  You can tell it's different tech from the other Slyce apps, because you don't have ...more

??? Slyce doesn't make the apps for their clients! They provide the visual search technology. Every app or mobile developer can integrate this technology with the Slyce SDK:  https://github.com/Slyce-Inc Who said that CTO was fired?  And which clients are lost? Home Depot, ShoeMe.ca, JCPenny, Tillys, HomeDepot, BestBuy, ShoeCarnival, Neiman Marucs etc.  are still online and ...more
