RE: Construct... Re: Buybacks.

AB, theres some validity to both sides of the story, at least in my opinion. Im still waiting to see how many shares Parex will buy back, as some companies announcing buybacks are not very aggressive in their purchases, and others are quite.  Ive been involved personally in buybacks, so I know how it all works.  So I wouid not favor a buyback, Id favor a dividend. Secondly, I do understand one allocates money to where its projected to earn its best ROE, and one would likely be correct in assuming that would be drilling another development well or two. However, in terms of dividend, one attracts a whole different type of investor, a yield hungry investor, the buy and hold type, thats more into riding the ups and downs (to a degree) in the share price of an E & P. I think at year end, and assuming we are doing 8000 to 10000 boes per day NET. Then I think looking at paying a half a penny quarterly might be something worthwhile looking into to.  That sums to about 3 million a quarter, maybe 5 days cashflow, assuming we are at the levels previously mentioned. Anyways, its just a thought, as I see it happening with some other producers out there. Just thinking out loud. In the meantime, let us see what Las Maracas and El Porton brings, if we get success on El Porton, then Ill rachet up my share price target. Have a nice day.
