RE:You can't count on a takeoever. I have to disagree with you on La Guira-2.  I don't think PTA would risk moving ahead on this field if they were not sure it would be successful. Too much to loose for a small company.  My only question is why was Parex giving it a pass?
As usual because PTA is so small there is too much riding on this one well.  According to Stockcalulator we are very close to putting a workover rig in place and should have results 2 weeks after that. So again I think you may be wrong on your thesis that we will not get results in Q1.
Your point is well taken on the lack of activity as we move into 2014. I agree with many here that this lack of activity is pointing towards a take out.  Then the question is for how much. Collectively what would we think is fair value?  I think most of us feel the only way we will see SP appreciation at this point is through a take out. The present course of action is not working.
