In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. Yes and if you buy stock at current pices you also get assets that is worth 3 times more than reflected shareprice

So, if you buy the entire company at current prices you get asset that are worth 3 times more and thoses assets are value at depressed prices.
