The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Langur & the neighboring Tierra Blanca de-risked Prospect

Check the slide 7 of the latest presentation.

We know about Langur-1 well which opened up a new Block, a new discovery that adds both production and reserves in 2015. Langur-2 will follow, which is a low-risk well, according to the company.

The thing is that the Langur oilfield borders another proven and de-risked oilfield (Tierra Blanca), which has already been de-risked by Tierra Blanca-1 well. The size of Tierra Blanca is about the same size of Langur prospect. This is why, PTA notes in the presentation that Langur discovery opens up follow-on drilling opportunities. Again, see slide 7:
