SALE of POET

SALE of POETHas anyone asked themselves why IBM has not offered to buy them out early or at least try to get in via funding with percentage sales in return or something?  I am all for this stock but I can't help but wonder why nobody (especially the biggest players in the industry who stand to lose a lot if this does go through)  has approached them to get on the wagon before it is too expensive.  All comments are necessary and it has been quite some time since I posted back in the OPTI days.
Secondly does anyone consider the old 'Bouncy Ball" situation which happened with OPTI.  We should all watch out for this.  It comes as a suprise and is not always noticed at first.
Only trust 'real' institutions before investing your money with somebody else!!!
