Many thanks for your post. I finished my DD on OPL last week, and yes the technology is mind boggling! There is no doubt in my mind this stock will rocket to the moon one day, seriously. But there is the problem for me, when is that day, and how long do I have to sit on dead money to get there?
The technology was invented several years ago, and investors have been anticipating the stock to rocket for sometime. This is a research and development company, and they could be in this phase for several more years, simply because there is still a lot of research and development left to be done. While we are waiting to see if they are finished with their milestones for 2012, there is another list of milestones for 2013 and beyond we have not even seen.
Just read the post below mine, guessing, wishing, hoping that the time for this stock to have amazing gains is very near... No disrespect to the fine posters on this board, and I certainly HOPE this is the your year and you get rewarded handsomely for your patience... but it could also happen two or three years from now, there is no way to tell.
These are just my opinions, and I have certainly been wrong before. Do your own DD. I wish you all the best.
