RE: OPL new timelines

RE: OPL new timelines

Well there's been quite a lot of disappointment voiced today, which is to be expected with any kind of delay for any stock imo. For myself, I'm just trying to make sure I have the full picture in regards to : 1) are they continuing to make progress on POET monetization and 2) Do they need to get all the way to MS 9 in order to increase shareholder value and/ or sell or licence?

Call me crazy but the "milestones which will enable the monetization of POET" aren't necessarily ALL of the remaining milestones, are they? (can't wait to hear saggy and company's comments on this one, lol). Opel has made it clear from day one that they are willing to sell or licence at any point, as long as the offer is acceptable to them. With the laser in hand, they already have a valuable tech that many of the big companies might be interested in imo.

Thanks to AKK for his handy table comparing the old milestones to the new milestones. It looks like MS #4 is scheduled for completion sometime in the next 9 weeks....this deadline will be crucial I think in salvaging any shareholder trust...although after reading the board this eve., it looks like some have already made up their minds. If OPEL misses any of these new timelines, I think we can safely say there will be a mass exodus of shareholders.

If this pp is filled it will speak volumes about what OPEL has shown them..if the big investors buy in, even with the delays, then OPEL has shown them enough proof to convince them it's "do-able"..if this pp isn't fully subscribed.....it's definitely time for us to take a closer look at our investment.

The Board launches the private placement at this time in order to secure the remaining capital required to procure $1.3M of capital equipment, fund ODIS's internal and third party development efforts leading to the completion of the milestones which will enable OPEL to achieve its strategy of the monetization of the POET Technology.
