Reality Check

Reality Check

So now OPEL is finding time in their busy day to meet with individual investors. This is getting to be a pretty big joke. I was nicely in the middle between optimistic and pessimistic but after hearing the information come out of yesterday's meeting and now this I am leaning towards this being a massive pump to try and unload cheap shares.

I will gladly eat my words and buy Fairchij that bottle of scotch if I am wrong but something really stinks here. I am fortunate enough to still be in the green at these levels but my hope of making a reasonable return is fading.

If half of what is stated here was true this company would have been scooped up two years ago. Why would any company with deep pockets risk losing such a big market share by not taking a flyer at these guys for a few hundred million. Be honest if a hostile bid was submitted for 2-3 bucks a share i would bet that the majority shareholder group would take their money and run. You think sheldon is going to get greedy and want 10 a share? Sure it would be a nice profit for us lowly shareholders but not the riches promised on this board. But instead if we believe the hype they will all wait and create a bidding war for billions. Really?? Take a step back and ask yourself if this all makes sense?
