Option pool increase (SnoopyDoo1) Snoop this post is directed mostly at you, I don't have a crystal ball, but someone with more knowledge of these situations explained it to me with the following statement.
"These options are important. Opel needs to ATTRACT and keep talent that will add value to OPEL. The goal always is that the value added to OPEL of an option grant, will be much greater than the dilution."
Unfortunately only Opel knows what these options are for...incentives/ awards to current staff to keep them in the company? Something to sweeten the deal for new employees the company wants to attract?.....I have no idea, I just hope they are able to sell the Poet process at a high enough price that we all do well, even if all of the options are used.....and let's face it, I doubt this is a random number drawn out of a hat, I would imagine OPEL's BOD already know exactly who they want to give them to and most likely all of them will be used.
Maybe Scary is right and trying to vote it down in June would be futile, but I think that is overly pessimistic..it just depends on how many shareholders show up to vote at the AGM.....if you don't want this to happen, you better make sure your rear is seated at the AGM.
I personally am not going to get too excited about something that won't be decided on until June....hopefully Opel has something to sweeten the pot for us before then...something that will move the stock price northward.
Was the recent decline in sp because somebody sold in advance of this news?...maybe...but I still hold the belief after watching the trading this week, that we are being manipulated on low volume, so that someone/ some group can accumulate.....I guess we'll see.
