RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SPX

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SPXYou forget that Poet has been working on parallel projects from 100G to 800G (capable of 1.6TB, 3.2TB). The 100G/200G, is my understanding, sales go through SPX for the vast Chinese market.
Way, way back in Poet's roadmap, I believe they described themselves as a late entry to the 100G. So Poet already knew that 100G will eventually be considered legacy. Why? Because Poet knows what else their OI can do. So I don't think your understanding reflects Poet at all.

Poet is revitalizing the 100G/200G for the Chinese market and it validates what the OI can do for those manufacturers that in comparison to Poet at the 100G/200G are legacy in my opinion. Remember when Suresh said that there are about 6 companies that produce 100G which is still in demand, but their margins are too thin? Along comes Poet and they are able to make 100G/200G a foundational introductory entry by Poet into this market by having those customers (up to 6) rejig and use Poet's OI and be able to eventually produce in high volume with "healthy- new-revised" margins. This was the area of the market of which Poet has "no competition". Remembet that?

Poet already established years ago in their roadmap as being a late entry to the 100G market and that they would possibly gain dominance in that area of the market as they become a leading company in the 400G and beyond. Those facts were laid out years ago as projections in Poet's roadmap.

What the heck is Poet woring on 800G, you say? Well that is where they are readying themselves to become a leader/

What does Poet's mission statement say?

"

POET's Vision

Our vision for the company is to become the global leader in chip-scale photonic solutions by deploying our Optical Interposer technology to enable the seamless integration of electronics and photonics for a broad range of vertical market applications."

So do you now understand why I feel the forever-repeating posters reaching for negativity seem to have a negative opinion of which I do not buy into?

As an aside, did you formerly post as as Aves88 since AvesNeverLeft implies that
you were gone and had to rename yourself to come back for whatever reason?

Thank you.
