RE: Celestial patent The contradiction here is as follows. Yes, you do not want too much competition. On the other hand it proves that the type of Poet's gadgets are legit.

The question will not be why do we have to use these stupid gadgets. The question will be: which gadgets do we like better? Poet or Celestial.

Anyways the market for these gadgets is supposed to be so huge, the mini me company of Poet would never ever be able to fill all orders.

So, I would not draw any conclusions from this patent, besides there is a scenario it will help.
