I've always thought that Poet is moving forward on two strategies. The more immediate lower market, lowest hanging fruit, has been what I believe Poet is doing through the JV.

Because of US-China, China-Canada relations, of course this is probably largely a reason why the market has been suppressing the share price. However, Poet is not moving forward in isolation.

We have a BOD member from Arista, we deal with both Celestial AI and ADVa, so there are other irons in the fire. From outside of China, Poet has probably been plugging along but not able to official say anything to that effect yet. But hints of a JV outside of China with several interested parties must surely be part of Poet's next plans.

Not all gloom and doom, because behind any perceived gloom and doom here are always Phontonic rays of sunshine.

Wow, look at this 15 year chart. It's basically flat $0.35-0.40. Goodness gracious.

Testing the 2022 low. If the Poet shear price fails to make a new low. That is gonna be quite the buy signal. However if the shear price breaks the low. Ouch. Look out below. Complications: Makes a new low to fake out the sellers and turns around to rally... We can make up any theory to explain every move. That is after the fact, in retrospect. Financing? Classic financing tactic: Announce Good News after the Financing. Financing rule: Share price bottoms only after the financing closes. In conclusion: Financiers want to sell at the Horse Doctors price of $4? Financing at $3 would give a pretty good margin for a trade for the financiers? Timing of the news? Q1 maybe, lots of promises around this time. There we go................

Yes unfortunately Poet under the possible guidance of its CFO,  suspended the ATM without alternate financing in place.  It's been six trading days without a newsrelease to confirm alternate financing.  If the reason is they are waiting for better market conditions then start praying. I voted to have the CFO dumped by the way.

Market Conditions won't get any friendlier for at least another couple of years..Long term treasury yields has reached 5% which is at a 16 year High.Feds will have no choice but to keep tightening by hiking interest rates.
