Unfortunately, i cannot remember a stock that did not go bellyup that came out with these shiny presentations with a financing, over the years. Its just when stocks slide like this, almost nothing can stop it. Beautiful presentation, great story, but there is simply no buyin. The better the story with the least buy in, has got to be the worst. Unfortunately, that is Poet right now. Poet needs

I have been warning for months about POET's deteriorating cash position and difficulty to raise financing.. it may already be too late for POET to recover from such catastrophic setback..If they succeed in the financing at any cost,they'll most likely benefit from another 6-9 months of roadway.but regrettably, all this will do is prolong the agony ,as all attempts to commercialization are

LIFE documents says Poet is going to pay for outsourced module prototype design. I think this allows Poet to move forward now and JV with a module manufacturer later.

How about this. Without the China1 plan, Poet is worth what the Sanan JV is worth, roughly where the share price sits right now. Coincidence? Or just a point on the slide into oblivion?

If POEt fails..China!+ is worthless. There could be some value there if  it was fully funded..but it's far from being the case.imo

The point is how do you value Poet IF you do a financing. You can argue that the value of the JV is the value you price Poet at. Originally the idea was a $50 mln JV. But, come to think of it both Sanan and Poet did not contribute up to the 50 mln value yet, i believe. So, then it would be less. Yeah, of course if Poet goes belly-up, the value of Poet or the JV or whatever else does not matter
