Poet revenues delayed due to hyperscalers skipping 400g and going to 800g. However, 800g prices are 2-3 times higher than 400g so present value of larger revenues further out > lower revenues sooner.

With double the capacity, you only need half the qty. And the dilution of shares out, suppresses any new targets. Where the 90% haircut cuts the deepest.

Accoriding to my understanding from Poet's earleir roadmaps, they forecasted entering 100G in the low-end of the market mainly in China where 100G was still in high demand. For the rest of the planet,  I recall Poet wanting to enter the 400G market and to become a leader there. However, since Poets customers' customers prefered 800G and a path forwards, Poet has had to adjust their
