Reading the PXT presentation

Based on the January 18 2011 Parex presentation it could be a while until the Trinidad testing of Firecrown and Snowball are complete.  At least there are appraisal wells scheduled which indicates that the first wells are economic to some significant degree.  The appraisal wells should shed light on how big or extensive the reservoir is and what sort of pressures are in the payzone.  I'm expecting some sort of information at the next Parex investor/analyst presentation webcast...nothing on the Patex website yet.  Typically Parex posts a presentation with an announcement that they'll be hosting a presentation with one of the investment houses.

Hoping for some more detail soon......hopefully Primera will post something more detailed sooner.

They'll release info ASAP on Snowcap if it is a success - they have to release material information contemporaneously.  Firecrown - looks like we'll be lucky to get news mid Q2.The appraisal wells are contingent upon success - they do NOT indicate that they've found commercial pay.  But gotta think after a month of testing that there can't be much longer to wait.

I've seen a continuum of opinions as to what is or isn't material.  Arguably the shareholders benefit with more frequent positive news releases.  Hopefully PTT and PXT agree.As for the function and utility of appraisal wells, there are many factors that the additional well evaluates.  However the decision to proceed, undertake the effort and cost
