MLM San Francisco, June 27: “It’s On”

By: Mike Boland, 3 May 2012

We’ve been working around the clock to get the speaker roster pinned down for our MLM San Francisco show coming up on June 27th.

It’s starting to really materialize with speakers from Google, Yelp, PayPal, and shopkick (full list below). We’re especially excited about tech investor and luminary Stewart Alsop, and there’s lots more to come.

The theme of the conference starts with mobile, and what Steve Jobs pegged as the post-PC era. This is the foundation for the evolving ways we’re communicating with each other and consuming content.

This of course ties back to BIA/Kelsey’s common thread in all things local. It also bring in lots of themes around social media, “big data” and the way that information is exchanged today: It’s very mobile and it’s very social.

That translates to lots sessions about mobile commerce, and the closed-loop transactional capabilities of mobile. The new paradigm of social sharing of all media types (pictures, reviews, location, etc.), will also be central.

And most of all, we plan to have this discourse exist on a tactical level with real takeaways. We’re past the 2009 conversation about how great mobile is. It’s time to move from the “why” to the “how”.

Check out the list of speakers below and visit the conference website, where you can learn more and register. We hope to see you there.
