RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Doubter = Basher ??

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Doubter = Basher ??Here’s proof that Duck Dive is a liar.

David Lenigas never sold Lonrho, he stepped down as chairman to concentrate on his role as executive chairman of Fastjet PLC and other interests.  So DuckDive is a liar.

As far as David making billions of dollars from other people, DuckDive is a liar again;

David Lenigas the former boss of Lonrho declared that as chairman of the new low-cost African airline fastJet, set up in collusion with easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, he would take a salary of just £1 a year.

The philanthropic Lenigas declared: “I am passionate about the possibility of fastJet’s ability to change Africa’s GDP growth profile.”

I have been doing business in Africa for a number of decades now and this is my personal way of contributing to changing life for the better in Africa.”

DuckDive, liar liar pants on fire.

DuckDive wrote: I don't have a problem. Lenigas has plied his trade across companies of all sizes and many different markets. His biggest was the once blue-chip Lonrho which he eventualy had to sell at a huge loss to shareholders. None of his ventures has turned into a success story in terms of viability and profitability.  Sure, some shareholders have traded shrewdly and made some money along the way - usually by selling out while telling newbies to buy - but there is no such thing as a long term shareholder who makes a profit.

You and your pals here may be happy playing that game - but don't kid others into thinking LGC can be a huge business because the form book says it can't. And don't lie in order to persuade others to hold onto their shares for longer than they might feel comfortable with. There is obviously money being made on this stock but it can't last because there are no fundamentals. And those who hang on too long are likely to find that out to their cost.

Lenigas is a modern P.T. Barnum, able to sell things of little real value to the likes of you at an inflated price. With all his companies, the only winners have been the ones who sold at the right time, ie before the bubble burst.

Rick1952 wrote: I see your your problem,, and the problem with your methodology.  You are confusing the big board markets with the venture markets!  Big board company's are bought on profit and performace, whereas the venture market is bought on potential.  Very very few venture market company's ever have any profit,, and that seems to be your only argument against David Lenigas,,  so be it.  But the point is that we are here to make money, and David Lenigas is doing exactly that for us!  As for your argument about the profitablity of LG in the future,,, the pieces are in place, and the balance sheet looks quite good for a venture startup, so, the short answer is, Yes, LG will be profitable in 2018, and sooner than later!  I have done my DD!

Rick1952 wrote: …As one detractor mentioned,, David Lenigas does not know how to run a porofitable business,,, well, I tend to disagree completely!  He chose to have John McMullen run LG, and from what has transpired so far, coupled with his plans going forward, i.e. Existing JV's and proposed JV's as well as present and future aquisitions, this will make me, and a lot of other people a great deal of money.

Good for you and I hope everyone who isn't a pumper makes a great deal of money. But you seem a bit confused. LGC is not - and probably won't ever be - a profitable business.  You are talking about making money from share trading, which is a different thing.

All you have to do to prove your point is show me one listed company which has (or ever had) Lenigas as a director which has reported a full year profit after tax. Should be easy, shouldn't it? He has been around for years and has had close to 100 Board positions on listed entities around the world. Surely ONE of them has made a profit???

You've got nothing else to do for the next week so you might as well do some proper DD
