Quantum eMotion Corp V.QNC

Alternate Symbol(s):  QNCCF

Quantum eMotion Corp. is a Canada-based developer of cryptographic solutions. The Company is developing quantum random number generators (QRNG). It has launched its new QRNG2, an USB key that delivers pure entropy at 1.5 Gb/s. Its QRNG2 technology is the quantum random number generator, which is used in consumer electronics. QNG2 provides security to mobile and Internet transactions, Internet of Things (IoT) communication, machine-to- machine connections, networking equipment and cloud-based applications. Its technology is also applicable to others, such as datacenters, blockchain technologies, financial services, cloud-based information technology (IT) security infrastructure, classified government networks and communication systems, secure device keying (Internet of Things (IOT), automotive, consumer electronics) and quantum cryptography industry.

Breakthrough Invention QNC

Breakthrough Invention QNCFrom QNC Sedar filing

Breakthrough Invention
The Corporation believes that new breakthroughs with regards to the Technology can be
summarized as follows: (1) electronic integrated device with a very small foot print of less than
20x20 micron; (2) demonstrated speed of 8 GB/s per Prototype; (3) if needed, devices can be
used in parallel to increase the throughput; (4) easy integration in existing electronics (mobile
and point of sales devices, USB, IoT, M2M, computers and networking equipment); (5) lowest
power consumption (less than 5mW); (6) very cost effective compared to other QRNG
technologies; (7) true randomness has been certified by NIST and tested through Diehard tests.
Advantages of the Technology
The Corporation believes that the advantages of the Technology can be summarized as follows:
(1) full-entropy random numbers are generated by the smallest generator in the market at a
fraction of the cost compared to other devices on the market; (2) it can be easily integrated in
existing electronic products to provide secure mobile transactions and communications; (3) it
delivers high performance throughput (8 Gbps) which can be easily scaled to offer additional
speed to protect cloud based and other high throughput applications; (4) the Technology will be
licensed to industry leaders and OEMs who will integrate the Invention into existing products,
including consumer products; (5) it optimizes secure infrastructures including IoT, M2M, cloud
and computer networks; and (6) it addresses the industry requirement for low cost
infrastructures and hardware solutions for mass market production.

Marketing Plans and Commercial Strategies
There are currently about one hundred Prototype copies that were produced by the University,
but none have yet to be marketed since the commercialization phase of the Invention has not
started yet. The Corporation’s go-to-market strategy going forward will be to sign licensing
agreement with strategic partners and OEMs that will allow them to offer a new secure
encrypted solution integrated in their existing products. The Invention is specifically designed
for possible partners and OEMs that are looking to add encryption into their existing electronics
including M2M, wireless communications, mobile and banking transactions, IoT, cloud and
computer networks.
