Snowflake you make lot of sense and I too like to follow the smart money ( I.e. insiders ) . I  would like to add that I think the wife and children of insiders can buy shares without declaring . If they do they probably pay less than if , for example,  the CEO buys on the open market letting all investors know therefore increasing the SP  .
