The global wearable medical devices market size is expected to witness a notable CAGR of 23% during the assessment period and is expected to reach an estimated USD 27.25 billion by the end of 2023. Technology is at the forefront of the growth of the worldwide market for wearable medical devices. It is because of technology such as IoT and Data Analytics that the need for such products is immense. In addition, these devices are able to incorporate cognitive technology to help users visualize their health status. These advantages are the key factors for the success of the demand for wearable medical devices worldwide. In addition, the technology also allows users to monitor each process of the body’s wellbeing, such as pulse, blood pressure, and even measures.
Any important factors for the growth of the global wearable medical devices market for are the rise in lifestyle ailments and the usability of wearable medical devices, combined with the proliferation of smartphones. In the growth of the demand for wearable medical equipment, the penetration of smartphones around the world has benefited greatly. Push alerts or automatic phone calls are used by healthcare apps to alert patients to take their medication and attend appointments, which is good for successful treatment. As a result, caregivers are more involved as they can monitor medications, specifics of substance use and monitor their own vitals to protect their health.
Great Post!
Interesting Switch of Strategy by existing BOD (and now currently management, due to departures of JCP & P. Miron).
In my discussions with previous management, I was always told that the technology (Electron Based vs. Photon Based), was very far ahead of what the market needed at this point in time. I was told it was like driving a Lamborghini on Bay Street in rush hour with no tires on the rims. Seems like JCP & PM may not have been thinking outside of the box on different applications & uses for the tech, as it always seemed to be focused towards cell phone or Internet of Things (IOT). My speculation is that some of that focus may have also come from Bertrand Reulet's vision of the intended use of the tech and traditional QNRG applications. I hope Bertrand is now thinking outside of the box now as well.
Regardless of my speculation here, it seems to me that existing management has possibly found an "outside of the box" application now that really suits what the technology was described as by prior management.... Small, Fast, Low Power Consumption, Temperature Friendly & cost effective to operate. Hmmmm...... Functional medical monitoring applications that are secure, efficient, adaptable and cost effective to operate, seem like a perfect fit to me..... but hey, I'm just a guy that still likes to play in the dirt so take that as you will.
My personal view of why the stock took such a beating down to 3.5 to 4 cents, was the issue of money and a poorly executed strategy to get cash flow by prior Management. I feel the current BOD was responsible for blame here as well. They ultimately are the "bosses" and voice of us shareholders, and it took a major sell off from worried long term investors, and 10 minutes to "desperation hour" for them to finally wake up and take some action. Anyways.... past is the past and hindsight is 20/20 they say. Now it is time to look forward!
So... now that a plan seems to be in place, hopefully existing management can address the cash crunch, and give some news on how the CMOS Prototype is progressing. And hopefully they continue to share how they are putting all the pieces in place to execute this new vision via timely news releases. And hopefully, they can continue to increase shareholder value in this company via stock price (and Market cap) appreciation.
I am also happy to finally see some life in this stock again.
Good Luck All.... keep being patient!
