Martin Stephan's Rock Teck Lithium Inc. (RCK), up four cents to $1.58 on 29,000 shares, has received a first batch of assays from the company's most recent trenching and channel sampling program at its Georgia Lake project in Northwestern Ontario. The sampling, which covered areas adjacent to the main resource zone, produced up to 1.38 per cent lithium oxide over 2.5 metres. Mr. Stephan, CEO, says that the trenching uncovered at least four pegmatite dikes, including one that produced the best assays. Five of the samples, which averaged up to 1.31 per cent over 1.9 metres, showed the continuation of the main resource zone. That zone currently hosts 2.47 million tonnes indicated at 1.11 per cent lithium oxide and 2.5 million tonnes inferred at 0.98 per cent.
