RE:2D. I'm sure they're more than happy to have the data from the 2D even if there was no particular benefit for an oil play.
Namibia has:
Uranium : Rossing Uranium mine
The Rossing Uranium mine, also situated in the Namibian desert, is the fifth largest producer of uranium oxide in the world.
Paladin: Paladin Energy’s Langer Heinrich Mine in Namibia is a proven tier one asset in the global nuclear fuel energy cycle. The mine is situated in the country’s Namib Desert, 80km east of the major Walvis Bay seaport, placing it within a significant uranium region.
Gold: B2Gold

Diamonds: Namdeb, a 50:50 joint venture between De Beers and the government of Namibia, is responsible for diamond mining activities in the country. The company employs approximately 1,600 people, and has contributed more to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) than all other mining activities combined. According to Kimberley Process statistics, Namibia produced $914 million worth of rough diamonds last year. Diamond production accounts for approximately 10% of GDP, 40% of export revenue, and 7% of annual government revenue.

Copper:
The Tschudi mine is located around 20km west of Tsumeb, in the Oshikoto region of Namibia. The mine was developed on an ML125 granted mining licence. The copper deposit is within the Otavi sediments of northern Namibia, which are part of the Damara orogenic belt and mainly made up of sandstone. 3 hours from Rundu and the higway connecting them runs right across RECO's Lease and I daresay part of the soon completed seismic.
We're talking subsurface data folks, that will have the mining industry extremely interested in the first 5000' of data.
This is nation building stuff right here, right now.
