Putin is following Hitler's playbook to the letter. France and Britain had some of the world's best and largest militaries. Hitler had striped his western garrisons to the bones leaving youngsters and seniors to defend Germany from the west. The German military establishment was convinced the west would roll in and take the Ruhr valley and a large chunk of Germany after the invasion of Poland. They were ready to overthrow Hitler as the first sign of French tanks rolling in. But of course the French and Briitish did NOTHING and Hitler was celebrated as a military genius.
This is the same situation today with Putin - he has stripped his Far Eastern defenses to send everything to the Ukraine frontier betting risking a Chinese surge and betting the West won't resist seriously. I think Putin will prevail!
What does this all mean for Recaf? Bigger money as oil surges and supplies in established areas shrink.
