Why would Recon post this particular picture on there web si

Recon has several stills and videos posted. This photo is from 1/10/2021. I find it very interesting this photo taken from a particular height and angle to make sure the mud pit and what appears to be black cuttings and oil floating on top in the right upper corner made it into the picture and onto the website. It looks like dusk and you can see the top soil color under the light and in the pit. Whatever is in the pit is much darker!!!

Sorry, but I don't think that is oil in an open pit, that would be wet dirt, a.k.a. mud.  Once again, they ae not drilling oilwells here, they are searching for source rock to see if there could be oil-bearing formations.  Quit pumping like we are hitting a goddamned gusher on first twist of the drillstem.

Well you COULD hit hydrocarbons which would impact the density of the fluid and make it unusable. You would probably discard of it in the pit. Or they could experience a kick... But the photo was taken when drilling commenced. Like within a few days of kickoff. So no, this is not hydrocarbons from our targeted zone.
