Fair Market Value: $ 720 billion (Shorts to be FRIED)

To all Longs

The fair market value of RECO stock is to be determined as follows:

Fair market value is $ 6 per barrel of oil

Total potential oil:   120 billion barrels of oil

Fair market value:    $ 720 billion

That means we go up 720 times from this $ 8 level.

Lets fry the shorts.

I love the enthusiam. I'm also long. But this projection is Bonkers. you need to go back to historical conventional recovery rates of 6-8%. Still if you use 6% on  100B bbl find  acconding to Dewolff, $72 per share for every 1 billion recoverable barrels,  you are still looking at $432/share. Even when you under calculate. The potential is enourmous.  Everyone is currently ...more

Where do you get 6-8% recovery rate from that you keep quoting?  More typical would be 30 - 35% from a conventional field.  I have no idea what would be the right price for this by the way in terms of stock price, except a lot higher from here.
Comment by Hotshot85 on May 31, 2021 2:28pm
you are right it can be higher but primary receovery of petroleum hydro carbons typically does not exceed 10%. Most of the time after that its Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR) or secondary recovery methods. Water/polymer floods. You can even get into tertiary recovery, Gas or CO2 injection as well. All of these as long as the rock properties allow for it can increase your recovery rate.

Also  need to take into account that Jarvie estimated 120 billion barrels of oil as a very CONSERVATIVE estimate. He said if he gave the real number in his head of what he really believes is down in those basins, it would be laughable. Even with only a 10% recoverable rate, this stock is in the hundreds of dollars per share, easy. On the hight end, if there are more than 120 bboe+..and lets ...more

Make sure you spell it yachts and not yaghts, doesn't matter how many you buy if you can't even spell it right ;)
Comment by Liquidtrade on May 31, 2021 3:27pm
Not buying a yacht...there is something larger called a yaght ;)

I would like to ask you why you persist with the 120  billion barrels of oil? You know full well only a small fraction of that is recoverable... Stop spreading false information.
Comment by teheran10 on Jun 01, 2021 7:22am
Small fraction LOL??? Even with 10% (but it should be much much more) recovery, we are valued at $150-$250.  pack your stupid profile that you have created in 2018 and go home SHORTER.  RECO will be a Giant with billions, potentially 120bbo, maybe more.  the stock is a 20-30 bagger to say the least.  than your dividends and spin outs etc. We shall do very very ...more

WTF are you going on about? Jarvis has never said it's 120 recoverable. And you know that as well. BTW I'm long and always have been. Save your trash talk for someone else.

Listen to sundowners. You are raving with little knowledge of the oil  business.

Please do not take this personally but you are an idiot.  Oil, if any, will only be found in traps. There is little precedent for anywhere near 10% of the acreage being associated with trapping mechanisms. So, 2-10 billion bbls of recoverable oil is a reasonable hope, so quit talking about 120 billion recoverable barrels and leave the technical discussions to the grownups on this board.
