an interesting scenario
a) monday is a holiday in canada, tsx will be closed. u.s. markets will be open
b) company issues good news on sunday evening.
c) recaf makes a sizeable rally in u. s. markets monday.
d) large (rumored) shorts in canada sit agast, watching their screens, unable to trade, contemplating banktuptcy,,, requesting visas to jurisdictions without extradition treaties...

They cannot release news when one market is closed unless it says that This news is not for ..... distribution in such and such country or state/province.
