RE:SpeculationJudomacca, how would the majors be "sniffing around and finding things out," and what exactly would they be finding out. This is why it is important to keep the information confidential, and prevent an offer from being made prior to the full realization of the value/extent of the resources. The majors are not all knowing corporations - google Kashagan, that was a giant field that was discovered in the 90's, even though BP had been operating elsewhere in the Caspian for ages. And what are investors going to do with this information, pile in on speculation. This management team is mostly from Mitchell and is experienced in playing their hand when selling to big industry players (Devon). Have some patience and some faith people!
I've worked for the big boys (integrated major), they are very happy to sit back and let smaller companies take on risk during early exploration and development, and pay a premium for derisked assets at a later date - they have the money to do it (XTO, Burlington Resources, Concho, Painted Pony, and the list goes on and on).
