Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd. is a Canada-based oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the opening of Kavango Sedimentary Basin in the Kalahari Desert of northeastern Namibia and northwestern Botswana. It holds 90% interest in a petroleum exploration license in northeast Namibia and a 100% interest in petroleum exploration rights in northwest Botswana over the entire Kavango Sedimentary Basin. The Company's exploration license covers an area of approximately 25,341.33 square kilometers (6.3 million acres) and 8,990 km2 (2.2 million acres) in Botswana. The two licenses together comprise 34,325 sq km (8.5 million acres). Its conventional drilling program is focused on analyzing the rocks to determine if there is a working petroleum system in the Kavango Basin.

Well I also sold some this morning ... the builds were not building .. and sometimes is sell the news not buy it... and this is what happened this am..... already bought it back for well over a $1 spread so a nice DIV while I wait this story out..... good luck Hidden ... remember everyone you will never go broke if you sell at a profit... this is still a spec stock ... seems some of the hype was baked in.... they did in fact find something but MR.Market wanted more .. and for those that didn't want to wait they sold.. the longs want to beleive this is short seller c$rap but just to many people expected $16 dollars at the open on the next NR didn't happen... so they sold .. GLTA

I had expected the company to give independent validation of rock information by 3rd parties and, some hard data.

It was a fluff press release without the hard data. Given that the company was valued at close to $ 2 billion, this value cannot be sustained on fluff, it needs the hard data.

I made a terrific return from my initial position at 65 cents and wish everyone luck.

I invested my funds in BYSI Beyond Spring Inc. on Nasdaq. They came out with terrific medical results and are applying for a new drug application. Their product will be replacing the present chemo therapy system out there. It should that their treatment (after a 6 year phase 3 trial) extended lives, gave better quality of life and, had no side effects as the chemo.

Stock trades at $ 21.57 at this moment, one analyst upgraded the stock to $ 100 per share on buyout speculation alone. The value of this market is $ 30 billion meaning a possible stock price of $ 840 per share so some 40x the present price. The rewards are just too good to ignore compared to the uncertainty created by RECO with latest press release. Yesterday alone the stock was up $ 17 per share.
