Why no good pr from Namibia and/or Recaf? It is a very favorable environment for oil and yet we really don't have any of the good pr that would be expected from Namibia and or Recaf on this major source of a lot of good oil in a good environment. I would have expected a lot!
Two reasons I can think of:
#1: The radical environmentalists.
Surprisingly to me they have become a force in energy and not for the best.
Maybe Recaf and Namibia want to keep off their radar screens. Example of being on their radar screens. One of my South African miners, SBSW, has diversified into lithium mining and has a big project in Nevada. They blasted a lot of pr out about this thinking moving into a "green" thing such as lithium for battery powered cars would be seen as a positive. Heck no! The "environmentalists" blasted them as "destroying" the desert even though it was used for atomic bomb testing for decades and no one raised a peep. The project is now "in abeyance".
#2: The feaking shorts and their bottom feeding sleeze lawyers.
Maybe Recaf is scared of these scumbags and keeping a low profile? But I doubt it. If anything Recaf has been very stingy with news. I don't see how anyone can possibly accuse them of pumping when they put so little pr out. Others relentlessly pump info out. Example: just look at this site stock house. Every time a company finds a spec of something there are pr releases blasted out!
