Panic buying ?!?!

I don't know if this is a computer glitch or the shorties have panicked and are rushing to cover. But I am seeing crazy wild numbers in buying interest at large numbers of shares.

I have seen this weirdness before on the old DryShips stock where it went wild at some good news and being a heavily shorted stock the shorties ran for the exit in droves.

Remember as a stock rises, unlike us longs who can't lose more than we put in;  shorties can lose more and more as the stock rises.

And if they don't cover they can be severely penalized by the exchanges and clearing ops - at least in the US!

Agreed it's very hard to buy today even at these prices -  seems like something is up  if you can get a few shares today then good for you - but I can't get an order filled unless I really chase it
