This would have set them up for tremendous profit, as they would get royalties, transport fees, rental fees, jobs to construct, jobs to operate, service industry jobs, taxes, corporate sponsorships in local communities like rec centers, etc. The low gas prices don't matter to them once it is in operation. Once it is built, it will operate 24/7/365 till the gas runs out - which will be never.
Greedy dummies IMHO.
That line won't be built for at least another 20 years IMHO.
