Very Cold and extended Winter/Spring
Much more so than 2022.
This has meant that winter apparel excess to Q4 sales would have a longer selling season in 2023 requiring less discounts to price than was the case for Q1 of 2022.
This would not only benefit Q1 sales but provide more efficient inventory management for Spring apparel, both of which could boost Q1 margins and new inventiry costs..
