Revenue Beat (my forecast)

Q1 was better than I was expecting with Revenues up 7.2%.  Gross margins were in line with what I was expecting (noticed more promotions walking the stores) while operating margins were worse with SGA up 8.6%.  

Time to uplist to the big board!

I figured $165 to $170m  so not too bad there and about 55% GM which was just a tad high, but did not foresee the total $41 million difference in payable reversals relative to Q1 of 2022 which would be paid from our cash hoard. But, otherwise we are in very good earnings shape for our best two quarters of the year coming up which should reload our balance sheet and right side our share price ...more

Uplisting and buybacks will do alot for the share price as profitale Q2 & Q3 are expected.  The new CEO will have to figure out how to make Q4 work.  Zara has a much more complicated distribution network and Q4 is profitable.  Would have been nice if RET could have got someone from Zara who wanted to be CEO.
