I still say IDG and Ret make a great merger.

Both have their core business as cash cows, IDG is already shaping its growth by diversifying into niche areas including children Sports apparel and Wellness products.

Undoubtedly, the former CEO of IDG which will soon lead Ret into its growth by diversification a La IDG, will be aware of  niches outside the current purview of IDG.

Together, the sum of the two parts will be greater than their simple current combined NPV.

I think an equally intelligent idea would be for RET to merge with Hammond Manufacturing.   Combining the two cash cows would be great, Hammond is shaping its growth through international sales of its electrical boxes and power systems. RET could introduce those products into its stores and offer ladies a free electrical box with each dress purchase that they could give to their
