As most of you who have been following Reitmans know, I am out.  However, the company is still on my radar.  I read the article, thank-you for the link Savvy.  Now I know who bought up most of my voting shares at $3.50. So Reitmans can't uplist to the Tsx because of the absence of the coattail clause for the non-voting shares?  I do recall reading an article earlier this

Buy when there's blood on the streets.  Canada is undoubtedly in a recession. Retail is getting hammered and will continue in the foreseeable future. When the tide turns, there is money to be made in this stock.  A future $10+ stock if you're patient and can hold for the long term.

Thanks Jay, Yes, that is the general rule "buy when there is blood on the streets."  With this stock, my theory is that the Reitman family will take the company private before that happens.   I don't see them ever giving up control of the company in order to uplist to the Tsx.  The lack of movement in the stock price and generally down after a news release, is

All I can say is I have been here since the stock was $0.50 and sold upwards of 2/3 of my position early this year and have been building it back up lately  I see an easy double here with good downside protection Nice bid this morning maybe the train is getting ready to leave.

well played. am doubling down on the position myself and thinking of allocating up to 20% of my portfolio to this name. concur with you about the downside protection and huge upside. will post a short write-up on this name soon to help the lazy ones and uninitiated types to see where the value lies in this name. cheers and GL
