Reitmans Ord Shs > Net income (Q1 + Q2) > net income (Q3 + Q4)

Net income (Q1 + Q2) > net income (Q3 + Q4)

Some number crunching based on historical analysis suggests that net income from the first half of the year ($9.5m) will exceed net income in the second half of the year. Net income for the year should come in lower than $19m excluding any non recurring gains.

The best quarter for the company has always been the second quarter followed by the third quarter and then the fourth quarter.

You do realize that last fiscal year net earnings for he six month period was 35.6 million and full year net income was 77.7 million. I would say the second half was > the first half. Not sure how pertinent pre covid/ bankruptcy numbers are here. With your estimate we would still have earnings of $.36 to $.38 per share for the year.

I went back from 2010-2019 and compared the first half of the year numbers with the second half of the year numbers. The smooths out the volatility and the noise that you may get if you focus on only one year, say last year.  second quarter > third quarter > fourth quarter > first quarter

Thanks!  $19M annual profit = very bad management.  What were all the options and bonuses for???? I encourage Reitmans shareholders to look at world class apparel managements like Zara and Lululemon to see how they communicate with shareholders vs Reitmans.  Management is unaccountable.

970000 available for  $2.07, it's looking very very bad, remember all the crazies that said $12 in no time, haha, this will end up selling for $3, it's never gotten away from that, reminds me of MB selling to Mattel they always sell it at bare bones imo

I tried and help that user but ended up, unfortunately, muting their incomprehensible gibberish.

What was that again?  Net income for ( Q3 + Q4 ) should not exceed the first half according to historical trends. We are getting back to normalized earnings without inflation spending as a tailwind.

Net revenue slipped 2.8 % that is a very good out come, they did very good this quarter. Ret is at .30/share that is very good as a negative all around economy tackling inflation. They have been busy restructuring  distribution and I really like this point of sale they have been working on with all the stores, this may pay off very well in long run, it may get to point where they could back ...more
