Aevis is a principal member who's sole function is to be the figurehead to its European Visa affiliate members. They are the member responsible for ING, Santander, and more. The principal members of Visa are few and far between. In fact Aevis doesn't issue any cards, again their sole purpose is to manage its members.
Massive entities like the ones Aevis oversees are all billion dollar companies. RevoluGroup is now another one of them under their realm, because that's what Visa hires Aevis for.
