Freeport McMoran

Freeport McMoran

is the king of the Copper/Gold porphry deposits since they operate Grasberg in Indonisia which is the worlds largest Copper/gold porphry in the world. It is only rivalled in size by Oya Tolgoi for which a 66% interest is worth about $10 billion using today's values. Oya Tolgoi has higher copper grades whereas Grasberg has higher gold grades. I do recall INV having 650 meterish intersections grading about 2% Copper and 2 grams gold for about 3% Copper equivalent. Thier deposit is over 5km long but its very deep.

We wont know the value here for a few years but if they continue to hit big and at relatively shallow depths she could go much higher.

The beauty of RMC is tell all the vulture like investment bankers to take a hike since they dont need any cash. Te big boyz cant hold her down for a financing, as appears to be the case with APM at present. I have seen firms short deals to keep a lid on them since they know they can buy back all they shorted and more in an upcoming round with warrants attached. Its so nice that RMC can tell if they want paper they have to go into the markets. That said if she keep on running they would be prudent to do a small round with no warrants attached.

Good luck to all longs
