Joe, I agree. That is the one bonus to a consolodation. Many institutions and fund managers won't buy under a certain price level and a $1 would get the interest of more. However I also believe in human nature and I guarantee many traders by nature would not pay a dollar for something that was 20 cents the day before...even if it's the same thing.
Also I totally agree with Kryogeniks 10:28am post. I think a $1.50-$2.00 range is feasible in time with just a few solid announcements. Unless the company has plans for renewed product development then there will be nowhere else to get value on cash holdings except a buyback. (don't even talk about a dividend!)
