There are some - LICHEN SPECIES - tha actually live off of -copper.
Almost prefer - copper.

Hence - sometimes finding the lichen - finds the copper.
Lichen - can be a superb pathfinder.
Sames goes for vegatation - mosr vegatation including trees and grasses, will sponge the minerals below it - when one fire assays - one can find mineral deposits below if the ppm are high. Some deposits have bene found this way - checking the vegatation.
